Looking for an unforgettable way to keep your child busy, active, and smiling this October half term? Our Forest School Holiday Club is the perfect outdoor adventure!
Children will enjoy a wide range of exciting forest school activities, including fire lighting, den building, nature crafts, bug hunting, whittling, campfires, games, and so much more. Every day is packed with hands-on fun and opportunities to explore the outdoors.
We offer three flexible session lengths to suit your schedule. Choose our Extended Day option for even more adventure, including advanced fire lighting and a delicious fire-cooked snack.
(All fire activities are weather-dependent. If conditions aren’t safe, alternative activities will be provided.)
Club Details:
For children aged 5–11 (up to Year 6)
Children must be at least 5 years old due to Ofsted registration

Please park and walk to the green fence to meet our staff, please stay with your child until they have been signed in with a member of staff.
Taunton School has a wonderful fenced forest school area at the back of playing fields, children with gather in the wooden Pavilion building on arrival between 8.30am - 9.00am, then they will be taken to the forest school as a group, collection is at the same green fence, please do not enter the school grounds.

What to Bring
Clothing:
We’re outdoors in all seasons, so dress for the weather! Expect mud, sunshine, and everything in between.
Outdoor clothes (no jeans)
Long sleeves and trousers (for protection)
Trainers and wellies
Jumper
Waterproof coat and trousers
Sun hat
Spare clothes (including socks)
Sunscreen and insect repellent (April–October; children must apply themselves)
Layering is key—it's easier for children to cool down than warm up!
Food:
Packed lunch
Water bottle
Mid-morning snack
Water refills are available throughout the day, and children are encouraged to stay hydrated.
Important:
All holiday clubs are nut-free, so please pack lunches accordingly.
Bringing medication for your child? Please place in clear sandwich bag and clearly label with your child's name, medication will need to be handed over to our staff at drop off, you will also need to complete a medication form on arrival or bring one with you (this will be emailed out the day before).
No mobile phones or Smart watches to be bought into the club, our staff have a PFS device should we need to contact you about your child.
Lost Property:
Please label all belongings clearly. Check you have everything at collection—unclaimed items will be donated or recycled after the final day of the club.
